Menu

Il Mulino New York Trattoria's menu has remained virtually the same since the restaurant's opening with tantalizing specials to celebrate the season's freshest vegetables, fruits, fish and game. Imported formaggi (cheeses), olive oil, prosciutto, salami and the very best Italian wines bring the wonderful tastes and smells of the Mascis' home to Il Mulino New York's guests. Together with fresh finds from local farmers and butchers, everything on the menu is made to order. We never take any shortcuts in our food preparation or service. If you have any special requests or there is something you don't see on the menu, please just ask. We will be happy to accommodate you in any way we can.

Meet the Chef

Devin Queen
Executive Chef, Il Mulino

Devin Queen is the executive chef of Il Mulino New York Trattoria at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.  Il Mulino, the resort’s newest signature restaurant, specializes in traditional Italian cuisine from the Abruzzi region of Italy.  Devin most recently served as executive chef of Shula’s Steak House, also in the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.  During his time as executive chef, the restaurant was voted the Best High-End Steak House and Best Restaurant Chain in Orlando.  This honor was given in 2003, the same year Devin was recognized as a Shula’s MVP.   Having overseen all aspects of kitchen production and staffing, he can boast much responsibility for these distinctions and many others, including the 2002 Critic’s Choice awards for Orlando’s Best Restaurant and Best Steak House during which he served as junior sous chef. 

A 2000 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in New York, Devin holds the distinction of graduating first in his class.  He also earned an associate degree from Valencia Community College in Orlando and is currently studying restaurant management at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.  In addition, he holds a Certified Sommelier Certificate and a Serv Safe Certification.
